I'm excited about some new items coming to the shop! They should start showing up in the shop in the next 2 weeks. Just in time for Valentines shopping. Glitter, sparkles and lots of girly, valentines colors !

I love this ! I need to get some storage for my craft room =) I share a loft area in the house with my husband and kids computers. So needless to say it's crowded. I finally got storage under the table which has been great for the craft supplies but I still need something for my fabric and this would be great.

I've opened shops in Artfire & 1000Markets. Very excited to have them. 1000markets must first approve shops so it will not be available for up to 48 hours.
I'm working on adding pants and ruffled skirts to the shop so keep an eye out for those.

We've moved to California ! Hopefully now we can get everything up and running. I'm really happy about the no snow !

Are you on the edge of you seat ? I've been sewing prefolds and I've ordered new beads to make some adorable kids bracelets with =) There will be snowmen, penguins with santa hats, snowflakes, and more. I can't wait for them to arrive

These are the patterns I am using to make christmas gifts. I also bought her striped skirt pattern As well as her fresh picked pin cushions pattern.
I finished sewing together all the squares for my rag quilt. My bobbins did not want to co-operate at all. They kept getting tangled and wouldn't wind properly. What a trial I was ready to chuck the darn thing. Hopefully the rest of my sewing goes better.

Christmas gifts

So I am starting to tackle my christmas gift list. The first item up is a baby sized rag quilt made from Sherri Berry and her new collection Emma Louise & Ethan Michael for Lyndhurst Studio.
Right in the middle as i'm setting up my sewing machine I find the lever on the back of my presser foot holder is gone. Now I can't keep the foot on my machine.
This means yet another trip to the sewing shop.
I still need to make 5 pencil rolls, a sock monkey for my little nephew, a ring stacker for a friends neice, 2 Grandmother necklaces for my mom and mother in law, as well as 2 rings for my sisters.
I'm using patterns from Pink Chalk Studios for the pencil roll, and stacker.
Unfortunately her site is down at the moment so I can't upload some pics. She has beautiful patterns and I want them all :)
